description
TECHNICAL FIELD The invention relates to a hand control unit according to the preamble of claim 1.
PRIOR ART Such hand controls are already known and used in a variety of forms and configurations.
Object of the invention The object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art. In particular, a manual control unit is to be provided that combines as many functions as possible.
Solution of the task The features of claim 1 lead to the solution of the task.
Advantageous refinements are described in the subclaims.
The following statements describe the vehicle communication box and the handset in the two modes of radio and GSM.
The main distinction between the two operating modes is that in radio operation up to two control units, namely a hand part according to the invention and a commercially available radio hand part, can be connected. In GSM mode, only the handset can be connected, which can be used to switch between POLYCOM and GSM mode.
The vehicle communication box provides the two digital outputs Mute and TX-LED on the A / D IO-PORT. The two outputs are 12 V DC outputs (12 V 10 mA pull-up). The mute output is always activated as soon as an audio signal (RX or TX) becomes active. By default, this is low active, but can be inverted in the configuration menu. Some car radio systems provide an input so that the radio can be silenced.
The TX-LED output signals the voice release after pressing the PTT button of a control panel or the external PTT button. This output has the same function as the red LED on the control units TPM700 and HANDTEIL. By default, this output is high active and can also be inverted in the configuration menu.
There is also an emergency button on the vehicle communication box. An optional emergency button can be connected to the pins provided. If the button is pressed for at least 3 seconds, an emergency call is triggered via the BER radio. 12 V DC (12 V 10 mA pull-up) are present at this input.
[0011] External microphones can also be provided. The vehicle communication box is provided with various external microphones as standard.
Furthermore, the vehicle communication box has configuration software, by means of which it is possible to make system settings with regard to the display brightness, the logic position, the volume and the configuration of the inputs and outputs.
If necessary, other electret microphones can also be used. Because each microphone can have a different sensitivity, the parameters must also be adjusted accordingly.
In addition, a potentiometer is integrated in the vehicle communication box. An external potentiometer can be optionally connected to the pins provided for this, with which the volume of the external loudspeakers can be regulated (parallel to the control units) or, depending on the parameter setting, the balance between radio and GSM operation. Potentiometers with 5-50 kOhm can be used. However, the area in the configuration menu must be adjusted. We recommend 10 kOhm (default setting).
If a potentiometer is inserted during operation, the volume set via the potentiometer is that which is set after the potentiometer has been inserted into the vehicle communication box.
[0016] Furthermore, specific functions are provided in GSM operation. The GSM operating mode includes a hand part according to the invention as an operating part, with which one can work in BER operation and in GSM operation. The simultaneous reception of both signals is guaranteed and, depending on the mode switched on, on the hand part according to the invention, it can be selected whether one wishes to transmit in radio (Polycom) or in GSM mode.
The switchover and operation between GSM and radio (Polycom) operation takes place on the handset by briefly pressing the star key (*) one after the other and pressing the hash key (#) immediately afterwards. If the handset is in GSM mode and is not on-hook, then the audio signal from the GSM network can be heard in the handset. If a radio message is received at the same time, it can also be heard in the handset.
CH 714 066 A2 The hands-free device, which has a noise and echo canceling, consists of two PTT buttons, one for radio or Polycom operation and one for GSM operation, an analog microphone and up to three external Speakers that are freely configurable. Noise suppression of blue light sirens is also planned. There is also an automatic volume adjustment that reacts to different environmental noises.
When the PTT button for RADIO is pressed, a connection to the Polycom network is activated. When the PTT GSM button is pressed, the microphone is only activated if the GSM connection is active. If there is no active GSM connection, the last number in the caller list can be seen by pressing the PTT GSM first and a call to this number can be made when the PTT GSM is pressed again. Automatic call acceptance is provided here, which automatically redials if the network is interrupted.
If the handpiece is used in combination with external loudspeakers, the external loudspeaker functions as soon as the handpiece is hung up (HOOK function). In this state, the audio signal in the handset is also switched off. Furthermore, the vehicle communication box has two D-SUB HD26 sockets for end devices. The middle HD26 connector is the first channel, the right HD26 connector is the second channel.
[0022] Furthermore, mobile radio devices and handheld radio devices can be connected to a motor vehicle holder and also controlled via this. Bluetooth and W-LAN can also be provided as additional access among the various communication participants.
Description of the Figures [0023] Further advantages, features and details of the invention result from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment with reference to the single figure.
Exemplary embodiment [0024] A communication box 7 is shown in the figure. A hand part 1 with a multi-keyboard 12 is also shown. The hand part 1 is connected to the vehicle communication box 7 via a spiral cable 6 and a cable 8. The spiral cable 6 is connected to the cable 8 via an adapter 9.
The hand part 1 is inserted into a hand part holder 2.
Furthermore, a hands-free loudspeaker 5 is connected to the vehicle communication box 7 in the figure.
In addition, a first PTT button 3 is operatively connected to a first hands-free microphone via the vehicle communication box 7.
Furthermore, a second PTT button 4 is operatively connected to a second hands-free microphone via the vehicle communication box 7.
The new generation for communication in emergency vehicles is the multifunctional handpiece 1 in conjunction with the vehicle communication box 7, which should serve in particular as an alternative to conventional radio devices with a radio handheld device.
The handset is used for communication as a radio handheld device, as well as for communication in (GSM) mobile radio as a mobile device.
The handset is at the same time control unit and handset, functionalities such as hands-free function, hook function, multi-keyboard, a 1.8 inch color display and the possibility of connecting another handpiece to the vehicle communication box 7 lead to comfortable operation in the vehicle.
The handpiece 1 has a large operating voltage range from 5 V to 14 V. In addition, there is a 1.8 inch and a 2.4 inch color display with 262 144 colors and an associated stepless brightness control. The multi-keyboard 12 represents a full keypad.
An integrated microcontroller and a dynamic earpiece are also present. In addition, a noise-compensating microphone capsule is installed, as well as wear-free hook detection and a connection to the vehicle communication box 7.
The handpiece 1 has a height of 30 mm, a width of 50 mm and a depth of 165 mm with a weight of 250 g.
The vehicle communication box 7 has two channels for two hand parts 1, so that the hand part 1 can be used in addition to a commercially available radio hand part. Furthermore, at least one 10 W audio amplifier, preferably three 10 W audio amplifiers, can optionally be installed.
In addition, a CanBus, a ComPort, a USB, a LAN, a POF connection and a 5xGPIO is included.
The vehicle communication box 7 has a width of 165 mm, a height of 46 mm and a depth of 100 mm. The vehicle communication box 7 can be attached to a mounting rail LXR 2 x 2.5 mm (190 x 100) in the vehicle.
CH 714 066 A2 The display of the hand part 1 has a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and is divided into four areas for easy operation:
- Icon bar
- Description bar
- Softkey bar
- LED bar The toolbar shows the current status of the hand part 1 with small icons. The description field is the main window.
The LED bar signals various signals such as RX and TX.
The soft keypad shows the possible options that can be used with the softkeys.
The vehicle communication box 7 also has a DSUB-25 connection for the BER mobile radio or a handheld radio with a vehicle mount and two channels for end devices such as the hand part 1 according to the invention.
When the handset is on the hook, that is, when the handpiece 1 is hooked into the handpiece holder 2, the external hands-free loudspeaker 5 is automatically activated. By removing the hand part 1 from the hand part holder 2, the external hands-free loudspeaker 5 is deactivated and switches to discreet listening. The built-in earpiece loudspeakers and the microphone in handset 1 are switched on.
The external speakerphone 5 can alternatively be switched on / off with the Shift (*) key «0». If the speech function is switched with the Shift (*) key and the hook signal then switches, the handpiece 1 goes into the default mode.
